The announcement read, 1969 Corvette selected Deal of the Day. But Cars-On-Line seemed to need to explain. In the first line they said, “Before you have a heart attack … we know it has a big block hood, but right up front we should tell you that this 1969 Corvette has an L46 350 motor with a Muncie 4-speed.” Obviously they have a heavy readership among the Baby Boom generation. It was being listed at a great discount to what classic Corvettes generally sell for.
The color is Monaco Orange which was not the original color, and it has the T-bar tops. (Click here to view dozens of detailed photos and read their interesting history on this Corvette.) The car is a driver quality find being offered for sale this week at the Classic Auto Mall in Morgantown, Pennsylvania. (If you haven’t visited CAM you should put it on your bucket list. Over 600 cars for sale at any one time.) They say the paint and body is not perfect. Have it inspected if you can’t come to see it yourself in person. But hurry! It will be the Deal of the Day on Saturday. The asking price is only $18,500.
Each week in their newsletter Cars-On-Line presents some of the top bargains in the collector car market. They call it the Deal of the Day preview. The Deal of the Day preview gives you first shot at all the cars that will be highlighted in their feature by the same name on the Cars On Line homepage. Often these cars sell in the newsletter before they even make it to the homepage. You have to hurry. That’s why you might want to click here to view all of the Deals of the Day for the coming week in today’s Cars-On-Line newsletter.
