When Cars-On-Line.com announces their Deal of the Day choices each week, there are always a few that stand out. This week a 1958 Chevrolet 3100 Panel Delivery was an amazing choice for Deal of the Day. Not only was it being offered at an exceptional price point, but it seems to be a true value at any price. Nice old delivery trucks like this one are getting harder to find. So we were surprised when Streetside Classics in Phoenix, Arizona had this one for sale this week at such an attractive price point. They posted this 1958 Chevrolet 3100 Panel Delivery truck for sale on the Cars-On-Line website. (Click here to review dozens of detailed photos.) In the description they say it is a nice blend of old school exterior with some updates inside. 1958 was the debut of the distinctive Apache body style, part of what Chevrolet called their Task Force trucks. Although it still has the 235 Chevy inline 6 cylinder truck engine, it now has an electric overdrive transmission and a modern Bluetooth radio. They added some real comfort inside with the updated heater, auxiliary readouts, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB. There are two plush captain’s chairs up front. It will be the Deal of the Day on the Cars-On-Line homepage on Monday. The asking price is $19,995. That is a discount to the market on these mild custom resto mod trucks.
